MooGoo Eczema Cream (discontinued) Review

Eczema is just horrible, isn't it? I've been told it's due to a gut imbalance. My mom struggled with it for nearly 30 years before going on an elimination diet. It took two years, but she figured out what foods can set it off and it can be really specific foods. For example, if she eats one type of tomatoes, she's fine. But if she eats another, then she gets a flare-up. Nightshades, gluten, dairy, and eggs are supposed to be top irritants for eczema. MooGoo Natural Cream Conditioner Review

I heard about this conditioner in a Curly Girl Facebook group. I am all for making large purchases once or twice a year. You can capitalize on discounts and reduce your carbon footprint. I ordered this along with a handful of other MooGoo products. With only a few ingredients, it looked safe enough to use on my kids in case I didn't like it. Although it has fragrance, it is phthlate-free. They state that they used to use essential oils but stopped due to not everyone being able to use them. (Take note, Shea Moisture, either state what essential oil you use or figure out another way to add scent besides using essential oils). MooGoo breaks down their ingredients one by one, which is nice, since you know what the purpose of each one is for.  About MooGoo: On my page about MooGoo , you can read more about their company and read my product reviews. MooGoo Soothing MSM Cream Review

I have tried a number of different eczema treatments for my daughter and I heard good things about this cream for eczema. I ordered this along with a handful of other MooGoo products. With only a few ingredients, it looked safe enough to use on my kids in case I didn't like it. They don't use essential oils in this cream, but instead use an extract. They used to use essential oils, but stopped due to not everyone being able to use them. (Take note Shea Moisture, either state what essential oil you use or figure out another way to add scent besides using essential oils). MooGoo Cover-Up Buttercup SPF 15 Natural Moisturiser Review

I heard about MooGoo in a Curly Girl Facebook group, they recommended the Protein Shot. MooGoo doesn't have free shipping, so I thought I should get my money's worth and order a handful of products that I needed as I was trying to move away from personal products that had synthetic dyes and used phthalates in their fragrances. I honestly bought this thinking that it was a low SPF sunscreen, not that it was a lotion with sunscreen in it. I am all for making large purchases once or twice a year. You can capitalize on discounts and reduce your carbon footprint. With only a few ingredients, it looked safe enough to use on my kids in case I didn't like it. On most of their products, MooGoo breaks down their ingredients one by one, which is nice, since you know what the purpose of each one is for. However, they do not do that on this product. MooGoo Natural Sunscreen SPF 30 Review

You know when your parents come to you and go, "when I was young. . . " and you realise just how much things can change. My mom said that when she was young, they didn't have sunscreen so they just slathered themselves with baby oil to get tan. Shocking, isn't it? They didn't have seat belts in the backseat of cars either. Makes you wonder what our kids will think of our lifestyle, doesn't it? Skin cancer is obviously something you want to avoid and if you're going to go outside, even if it's not sunny, you should use sunscreen. The problem is that there's a lot of products out there that don't have the best ingredients. Many of my friend rave about Badger Balm. They kinda get all starry eyed as they say it. I'd never heard of it before. It looks pretty darn good though. But, I'm trying to be more environmentally conscious, which is hard when you order online since there's packaging and fuel emissions and the like. What I try to d...

MooGoo Irritable Skin Balm (Eczema & Psorias Cream with Marshmalllow, Elderberry & More) Review

My daughter has had a few eczema flare-ups in her life and now the baby is getting them too. I have tried a number of different eczema treatments . I was told that I should do elimination diets for them as well. However, when your kids spend about 10 hours a day in someone else's care because you work full-time, it's a little difficult to do. So for now, I'm simply putting a bandage on the situation and using lotions, potions, creams, salves, and balms when they get flare-ups. Luckily, they really aren't too bad. The baby might get a few spots and my daughter might get something the siz...

MooGoo Milk Wash Review

I am all for products that can be used for more than one thing. It saves time trying to look for another product and money. This body wash is gentle enough to be used on your face as well, so it seemed perfect for what I was looking for. I actually prefer bar soap due to having less packaging, but I know my daughter would just end up leaving it in the bath or trying to make potions out of it. Also, I wanted my husband to start using something better than the stuff he was using. About MooGoo: On my page about MooGoo , you can read more about their company and read my product reviews. MooGoo Mini Moo Bubbly Wash Review

Remember Mr. Bubbles? I bought that and used it a few times. Every single time my daughter would end up with a rash. Time to look for a healthier bubble bath. My husband bought a bubble bath from The Honest Company and you can read my review here . Spoiler alert: I did not like it at all. Since I'd had pretty good luck with MooGoo products, I thought the bubble bath would be nice as well. MooGoo Moothpaste Toothpaste Review

I spent way too much time trying to find a good toothpaste. I was using Earthpaste and it was ok. I got the 4 pack (lemon, cinnamon, wintergreen, and peppermint. You can read my review here .  I'm still kind of iffy about Earthpaste. Since I was on a MooGoo kick and loved their company and their products, I decided to get their toothpaste. MooGoo Moothwash Review

In an attempt to clean up the product I use, I need to figure out a safe alternative to mouthwash. I hate oil pulling. It's just gross. It's hard enough doing it for 1 minute, let alone 15 minutes. I really like MooGoo and saw that they had a healthy mouthwash and decided to get it the next time I ordered from them. Even better: no coconut oil!
