I found out about Uncle Funky's Daughter (UFD) through a Facebook group. I liked how they made recommendations for different hair types . Type 2 Wavy is Frizzy Gillespie, Type 3 Curly is Whole Lotta Body, and Type 4 Kinky is Well Put Together. I do feel, however, that the label for type 2 hair is negative while type 3 and 4 are positive. UFD was a husband and wife hair salon that later started making their own products. Unfortunately, they had a bitter divorce and the wife (Tonya Goff) tried to make a similar product (with the brand Hello Curly ) to the Curly Magic Curl Stimulator, but in the end, the husband (Ray Reed) won and still has one of their most famous products: UFDCM or Uncle Funky's Daughter Curly Magic.
