MooGoo Eczema Cream (discontinued) Review

Eczema is just horrible, isn't it? I've been told it's due to a gut imbalance. My mom struggled with it for nearly 30 years before going on an elimination diet. It took two years, but she figured out what foods can set it off and it can be really specific foods. For example, if she eats one type of tomatoes, she's fine. But if she eats another, then she gets a flare-up. Nightshades, gluten, dairy, and eggs are supposed to be top irritants for eczema. Forces of Nature Wart Control Extreme Strength (discontinued) Review

My daughter had a plantar wart on the bottom of her foot. We tried freezing it off and that failed miserably. You were supposed to hold it on for 40 seconds and we got to about 2 seconds. Tried ACV (apple cider vinegar) and black tape. Neither worked. The good news was that since at the time she was only 4 years old, her wart wasn't that old either. A friend of mine had suggested looking into Forces of Nature. I checked out their website and decided that it was a bit too expensive, but he insisted that it worked amazingly and that I wouldn't need to buy more than one bottle. I finally caved and bought it. The Problem with Magic Mist from Witch I Love Your Hair

So many people are raving about the Magic Mist from WILYH (Witch I Love Your Hair), however, the truth of the matter is that this product is not only potentially dangerous but is also breaking numerous laws. I also was drawn in to the marketing and the owner's personality. All natural ingredients, just water, essential oils, and carrier oils. Whats not to like? Loads of things. To be fair, I think she has a fantastic idea, but she needs to make changes to her product for it to be safe and comply with the laws. Before we start, you need to understand that according to the FDA , her product falls under the category of a cosmetic. image source Let's Start at the Beginning There are 3 main issues with her products and you can see more about each one below. I've also provided a summary and information on how to report a non-compliant product. Not Formulated Correctly No emulsifier Double-filtered well water The essential oils  Using water and no preservatives N...

Forces of Nature Eczema Cleanse (Discontinued) Review

My youngest has had some bad eczema. My oldest had a few flare-up, but nothing I do seems to get rid of the baby's. I know it's environmental and either from the bad air, mold, or water where we live because when we go on vacation, it clears up. I had bought this soap for my oldest but barely used it. It came in a pack of three and I gave 2 soaps to my mom. However, they have discontinued this soap, along with a number of their products. I'm not sure if it's due to a crack down from the FDA (due to the claims it was making it would mean it's an unapproved drug) or if their product just wasn't selling. I have tried a number of different eczema treatments but hadn't had any luck, so decided to try this soap. Although it was old, soap simply dries out and get harder with age, meaning that it lasts longer. Shea Moisture Coconut & Hibiscus Co-Wash Conditioning Cleanser Review

My hair is about to the middle of my back. I have 2B, low-porosity, protein-sensitive hair. My hair is medium thickness and low density. I'm of European descent and I have dark virgin hair. I have a handful of Shea Moisture hair products and they don't seem to work well on my hair. Some people have said that if you have wavy hair and/or low porosity hair, that you should try co-washing. Since my hair is both wavy and low porosity and I got this for free, I thought I'd give it a show. About Shea Moisture: On my page about Shea Moisture , you can read more about their company and read my product reviews. I have reviewed other companies and their products as well and you can find those on my complete list . I got this for free: One of my friends has a gluten allergy and didn't see that it had wheat when she bought it so she passed it on to me. Plant Therapy Lil' Stinkers™ KidSafe PJ's Blend Essential Oil Synergy Review

There are some good Facebook groups to buy, sell, and trade non-MLM essential oils. Let me tell you, it's addicting and easy to get carried away. I can't remember if I bought it or traded it for another oil. The thing you have to remember is that while somethings may seem like they're a good deal, you often have to pay for shipping and that can be an extra $3.50 or so. I bought this from one of those groups. About Plant Therapy: On my page about Plant Therapy , you can read more about their company and read my product reviews. Caribbean Cacao Cocoa Butter Review

I had bought shea butter and mango butter from Better Shea Butter and decided that I should get some cocoa butter as well. I have a love-hate relationship with cocoa butter. It's hard, which is great in the summer, but really makes body butters hard to use in the summer. It smells like chocolate, which I personally love and it makes me want to eat it, but I know that some people don't like slathering chocolate smelling butter on themselves. Instead of buying cocoa butter from Better Shea Butter , I decided to see what other companies were out there and I found Caribbean Cocoa on Amazon. With high ratings and over 2,000, I figured I should try it. About Caribbean Cacao:  On my page about Caribbean Cacao , you can read more about their company and see all my product reviews.
