120+ Alternative Topical Treatments for Ezcema

The majority of the treatments here are natural / alternative treatments or use ancient traditional medicine, however, there are some regular creams mentioned that are not as natural as what I would like to use, however, desperate times call for desperate measures and I would rather use regular treatments than steroids. I grew up knowing about eczema. My mom has had eczema for years. Years and years. My first daughter had it a bit and it went away with just a few creams. Now my second daughter has it and it's pretty bad. She had a bit in the winter and then around May she got a patch on the back of her knees and it's just spread to the front of her legs, her stomach, her neck, the crooks of her elbows, and her armpits. I look at her and I just want to cry. Summer is when she has flare-ups and I tried just about everything. I'm glad it's winter since that seems to make it go away. I've looked online and talked to people about what can help eczema. We've t...

Sherpa Pink Himalayan Salt Extra Fine Grain Review

I've seen people talk about pink salt and how much better it was than regular salt due to all the trace minerals and elements. I understand that there are only trace amounts, but sometimes a little goes a long way. I really don't use that much salt in my food and I was looking for salt for a salt and sugar scrub. I choose this basically because it was a novelty and it's pink. The SF Salt Company says that Himalayan salt has great health benefits and can help re-mineralise your body. I have tried a number of different eczema treatments but I'd be very hesitant to try a salt bath when my daughter has eczema flare-ups.  It's hard enough trying to get lotion on her. I just feel like rubbing salt into a wound would hurt her. The SF Salt Company says that after visiting the Dead Seas, psoriasis patients find their skin has improved. However, my daughter only has eczema flare-ups every once in a while and I try to bathe her less then. Maybe when she's older, I could try salt treatments on her, but for right now, she's just very scared of everything, including lotion. I've recently gotten adult acne flare-ups. It's very annoying to get acne at my age. I'm pretty sure it's due to products or habits since it's just on one side of my jaw and neck. Although this blog is dedicated to healthy, natural items, I have been using ...
