Plant Therapy Lil' Stinkers™ KidSafe PJ's Blend Essential Oil Synergy Review

There are some good Facebook groups to buy, sell, and trade non-MLM essential oils. Let me tell you, it's addicting and easy to get carried away. I can't remember if I bought it or traded it for another oil. The thing you have to remember is that while somethings may seem like they're a good deal, you often have to pay for shipping and that can be an extra $3.50 or so. I bought this from one of those groups. About Plant Therapy: On my page about Plant Therapy , you can read more about their company and read my product reviews. Appalachian Valley Natural Products Frankincense Frereana Essential Oil Review

Ah, frankincense. A precious oil and resin coveted throughout the years. That's about all I knew about it, besides the Three Wise Men bringing gold, frankincense, and myrrh. I didn't even know what it smelled like. AVAT recently had a sale and I was trying to get my cart to $35 so I could get free shipping. I decided to add 4 out of 5 of their frankincense essential oils. Now, frankincense is one of those oils that I really don't want to try and that's because it's semi-expensive. The majority of the oils I have are citrus and very affordable. I don't like to diffuse expensive oils because I feel like it's a waste of money; I'd rather use them topically. Part of me hopes that when I try samples of precious oils, that I won't like them so that I don't have to spend the money on them since I'm cheap. Happily, AVAT does have pretty affordable prices compared to other companies and that's one reason that I tried it. I figured I...

NOW Foods Castor Oil Review

Years ago I used to have very long hair and I would oil the ends of my hair and give myself scalp massages with oil every day. About once a week I would do hot oil treatments. Since then, I've learned that oils don't work so well on my hair, however, I still use carrier oils in order to dilute essential oils and to make my own body butter. Make sure to follow proper dilution guidelines for essential oils. Click on the button that says "download dilution chart". To be honest, I'm not that much of a fan of castor oil. It's thick and sticky. I know that some people actually take a spoonful in order to keep them regular, which kind of grosses me out. However, it has a lot of uses in holistic and alternative medicine, so I figure it should be a staple in my cabinet. MooGoo Natural Cream Conditioner Review

I heard about this conditioner in a Curly Girl Facebook group. I am all for making large purchases once or twice a year. You can capitalize on discounts and reduce your carbon footprint. I ordered this along with a handful of other MooGoo products. With only a few ingredients, it looked safe enough to use on my kids in case I didn't like it. Although it has fragrance, it is phthlate-free. They state that they used to use essential oils but stopped due to not everyone being able to use them. (Take note, Shea Moisture, either state what essential oil you use or figure out another way to add scent besides using essential oils). MooGoo breaks down their ingredients one by one, which is nice, since you know what the purpose of each one is for.  About MooGoo: On my page about MooGoo , you can read more about their company and read my product reviews. MooGoo Soothing MSM Cream Review

I have tried a number of different eczema treatments for my daughter and I heard good things about this cream for eczema. I ordered this along with a handful of other MooGoo products. With only a few ingredients, it looked safe enough to use on my kids in case I didn't like it. They don't use essential oils in this cream, but instead use an extract. They used to use essential oils, but stopped due to not everyone being able to use them. Appalachian Valley Natural Products Lemon Myrtle Essential Oil Review

Lemon, the one essential oil my daughter would have me diffuse all day, every day. Don't do that since sensitization can occur if you do. We have a number of lemons and lemon-related oils from a variety of companies. From AVAT, we have lemongrass and lemon , so it was only logical to get lemon myrtle as well as see how that compared. They also have other lemon-related oils: basil lemon , eucalyptus lemon , lemongrass distilled , lemon green , and lemon tea tree oil . As much as I'd like to try most of those, I'm pretty much lemoned out right now. Appalachian Valley Natural Products Plai Essential Oil Review

Popular essential oils such as lavender and tea tree oil are commonly known, but as you get into essential oils more and more, you learn about one you had never heard of. One of the reasons that I love AVAT is that they offer sample sizes. I try to mainly buy oils that are safe for kids. Unfortunately, AVAT doesn't say which ones are safe for kids so I go back and forth between their website, Edens Garden , and Plant Therapy . It's a bit of a pain, but AVAT's oils have tested pure and the price is right, so it's worth it. I had never heard of plai before and decided to get it because it is supposed to help with respiratory issues, plus it has a really cool name. Maybe not the best of reasons, but when most samples are less than $1, I decided to go ahead and get it since in order to get free shipping from AVAT, you need to spend $35. Shipping was going to be about $10. I'd rather pay to get stuff than pay for shipping. About Appalachian Valley Natural Products:...
