MooGoo Natural Cream Conditioner Review

I heard about this conditioner in a Curly Girl Facebook group. I am all for making large purchases once or twice a year. You can capitalize on discounts and reduce your carbon footprint. I ordered this along with a handful of other MooGoo products. With only a few ingredients, it looked safe enough to use on my kids in case I didn't like it. Although it has fragrance, it is phthlate-free. They state that they used to use essential oils but stopped due to not everyone being able to use them. (Take note, Shea Moisture, either state what essential oil you use or figure out another way to add scent besides using essential oils). MooGoo breaks down their ingredients one by one, which is nice, since you know what the purpose of each one is for.

About MooGoo: On my page about MooGoo, you can read more about their company and read my product reviews. I have reviewed other companies and their products as well and you can find those on my complete list.

Ingredients
In my previous reviews of MooGoo, I mentioned that their ingredient list wasn't INCI compliant. Happily, this one is. They're using the correct names (as far as I can tell) and then they use the common name or explain it in parentheses, which is fantastic.

Smell and Texture
Honestly, this doesn't really smell like much of anything, which is a nice change from many of Shea Moisture's products. They mention that they use fragrance oil instead of essential oils. They said that some people were having issues with essential oils, so they switched over to fragrant oils. They are phthalate-free.

I am glad to hear that they are taking essential oils seriously. Not everyone can use all essential oils. They are not safe across the board. I know that you will hear people who sell essential oils from MLM claim that their oils are safe for everyone because they're natural. They're not. Natural does not always equal safe. There are plenty of things out there in nature that can harm or even kill you. Please do patch test before using.

This conditioner has got a lot of slip to it and my hair really starts to feel like wet seaweed when I use it. It's not that thick, nor that thin. It's white.

Size, Price, and Packaging
I got a 500 ml container and since it has a lot of slip, you don't have to use gobs and gobs of it. It comes in a pump-top container.

You can buy it from Amazon or MooGooUSA. If it's your first time ordering from them, you can get $10 off your order of $40 or more by using the code MGRE-SHAR-DB2A27. You must create an account with them. If you don't create an account, the discount code will not be valid.

Would I Get This Again?
