MooGoo Mini Moo Bubbly Wash Review

Remember Mr. Bubbles? I bought that and used it a few times. Every single time my daughter would end up with a rash. Time to look for a healthier bubble bath. My husband bought a bubble bath from The Honest Company and you can read my review here. Spoiler alert: I did not like it at all. Since I'd had pretty good luck with MooGoo products, I thought the bubble bath would be nice as well.

I remember playing in the bath as a kid and having lots and lots of bubbles. Granted, we would always add more bubble bath when my mom wasn't looking, but still. Even though I absolutely did not like The Honest Company's bubble bath due to their bad label, they did have fantastic bubbles. MooGoo's Mini Moo Bubbly Wash is ok.I think the key is to having a pretty clean bath tub with no oils. I make bath bombs for the kids and you need a little bit of oil to do so. I think that little bit of oil can cause the bubbles to go away faster than they normally would.

They also acknowledge that due to the mild ingredient they choose, the bubbles don't last as long. They said you should just swish the water around and they'll come back. I'll say that the bubbles don't last long, but I'm sure my tub could be cleaner.

Ingredients
In my previous reviews of MooGoo, I mentioned that their ingredient list wasn't INCI compliant. Happily, this one is. They're using the correct names (as far as I can tell) and then they use the common name or explain it in parentheses, which is fantastic.

They've got a lot of coconut derivatives here, so bad news if you're allergic to coconut. Instead of using one super cleaners, they used 6 milder cleansers, which is safer for your baby. They also use aloe and colloidal rice bran, which helps moisturize skin. You won't find any harsh ingredients, like SLS in this bubble bath either.

Smell and Texture
Honestly, this doesn't really smell like anything. It has a bit of a soap smell, which is to be expected. It's got lots of slip as well, like a body wash.

Size, Price, and Packaging
I got a 500 ml container and it's much more than the cheap Mr. Bubbles that you're going to get at the store, but it's also cheaper than other natural brands out there. It's got a pump top as well, making it harder for your kids to just squeeze a ton out in the tub and waste it all.

Would I Get This Again?
Maybe. I really like it and the label is really good. I'm just not sure if my kids use bubble bath enough. Maybe I should start using it more, but right now they're on a bath bomb kick.
