In an attempt to clean up the product I use, I need to figure out a safe alternative to mouthwash. I hate oil pulling. It's just gross. It's hard enough doing it for 1 minute, let alone 15 minutes. I had heard much about this mouthwash, other than it was supposed to be a safe alternative to regular mouthwash. MooGoo is fun and quirky as you can see with this quip about alcohol.
Smell and Texture
This doesn't have a strong scent at all. It smells a bit sweet. The essential oils they use are known for being antibacterial,
however, there is not enough information about them. They need to have
their Latin Name. For example, there are 3 different types of cinnamon
and 3 different types of sage. You have to be especially careful with
cinnamon and that it is diluted correctly or else it can burn
you.

With essential oils, you have to be careful not to use internally unless directed by a licensed aromatherapist or physician. I know that MooGoo tests their products for safety in regard to bacteria and mold, however, I am wondering about the safety of the essential oils in this mouthwash.
You can see spots of oil in this mouthwash, which honestly concerns me. I'm not a chemist, but I would expect for everything to be emulsified together. MooGoo stated that it was just the essential oils and to shake it. Definitely not safe! They never answered my question about emulsifiers.
Let's take a look at the other ingredients. Sea salt is known to be antibacterial and to kill off bad critters as they call them. They mention that they use stevia and natural flavoring so kids would use it. I think it's good to get children started on oral hygiene earlier.

Ingredients
The ingredient list is super short but there is one small issue that I have and that's two forgotten commas. I know, it's a small issue, but it kind of changes the meaning. Right now they have natural flavour thyme and it should be natural flavor, thyme. They also have sclerotium gum stevia oil when it should be sclerotium gum, stevia oil. |

I got 300 ml and it's more than what you will pay for regular fluoride mouthwash. But you don't want that stuff, you want the good stuff. Fluoride is not good for you. Would I Get This Again?
