MooGoo Milk Wash Review

I am all for products that can be used for more than one thing. It saves time trying to look for another product and money. This body wash is gentle enough to be used on your face as well, so it seemed perfect for what I was looking for. I actually prefer bar soap due to having less packaging, but I know my daughter would just end up leaving it in the bath or trying to make potions out of it. Also, I wanted my husband to start using something better than the stuff he was using.

This body wash is not very bubbly at all, due to the natural ingredients they use. The good news is that it's a no-tears formula, so safe to use on babies and kids.

Ingredients
In my previous reviews of MooGoo, I mentioned that their ingredient list wasn't INCI compliant. Happily, this one is. They're using the correct names (as far as I can tell) and then they use the common name or explain it in parentheses, which is fantastic.

They say they use an ingredient called capric glucoside, however, this is not listed in their ingredients. They have decyl, lauryl, and coco- which are followed by the word glucoside. They also have sodium lauroamphoacetate, cocomidopropyl betaine, which they say are glucosides, but don't have glucoside in the name. So that's slightly annoying that I can't find the ingredient that they say they're using. Actually, when I did a search, I found that it should be capryl not capric, but that might be a USA vs. Australia thing. However, still annoying that I can't find the ingredient on their label that they say the body wash is based on.

They've got glucose ad coconut based cleansers which are meant to be gentle on your skin. They also have milk protein, which helps maintain your skin's elasticity.

Smell and Texture
Honestly, this doesn't really smell like much of anything to be except soap. They mention that they use fragrance oil instead of essential oils. They said that some people were having issues with essential oils, so they switched over to fragrant oils. They are phthalate-free.

I am glad to hear that they are taking essential oils seriously. Not everyone can use all essential oils. They are not safe across the board. I know that you will hear people who sell essential oils from MLM claim that their oils are safe because they're natural. They're not. They're drinking the Kool-Aid.

Natural does not equal safe. There are plenty of things out there in nature that can harm or even kill you. Please do your own research about essential oils. Make sure to follow proper dilution guidelines. Click on the button that says "download dilution chart". Do not use undiluted. Patch test before using. Check the max dilution on the label. If pregnant, nursing, or under a doctor's care, please contact your caregiver first. Do not use internally unless directed by a licensed aromatherapist or physician. Follow safe essential oil usage; not all people or pets should be exposed to essential oils.

This body wash has got a lot of slip to it. Honestly, it's a bit too slippy for me. I don't really care for the texture. I don't use it much as a body wash, but more of a face wash after I exfoliate.

Size, Price, and Packaging
I got a 500 ml container and when you consider that body wash can also be used on your face and that this is better than the teeny, tiny facial wash that you will pay an insane amount of money for, this is well worth it. It comes in a pump-top container.

You can buy it from Amazon or MooGooUSA. If it's your first time ordering from them, you can get $10 off your order of $40 or more by using the code MGRE-SHAR-DB2A27. You must create an account with them. If you don't create an account, the discount code will not be valid.

Would I Get This Again?
Yes. I wouldn't use it as a body wash for me though. It has too much slip for my liking. I like it for a gentle face wash, after I exfoliate and my skin is a bit tender. My kids like it as a body wash. You can buy it from Amazon or MooGooUSA. If it's your first time ordering from them, you can get $10 off your order of $40 or more by using the code MGRE-SHAR-DB2A27.
