My Thoughts on Avalon Organics

I had heard of Avalon Organics but had never tried their products.  I was trying to find a facial serum on Amazon. A daunting task considering how many fake reviews there are out there and stumbled upon one by Avalon Organics. The ingredients looked pretty good, it was a bit more than I'd usually spend (but I'm cheap) and I decided to get it anyways.

They have skin care, hair care, and bath and body products. They don't have a huge variety of products, but rather a limited number that they focus on.

Customer Service

I haven't had any interaction with their customer service, but they are active on Facebook.

Affordable Prices

Their prices are really pretty good and a lot less expensive than luxury green brands. I like their packaging as well. Their serums for example, are in airless containers. Most of their containers are tubes, however, they do use a few tubes and jars (something I don't like due to contamination). They also have a few dropper bottles (which I tend to knock over so don't buy anymore).

Ethics

As you can probably tell by the name, the ingredients are organic. They have skin care, hair care, and bath and body products. They are certified USDA Organic. Almost all their products (except for the vegetarian lip balm) vegan and cruelty-free. Not only do they never test on animals, but they only source ingredients from suppliers who can document that they do not test on animals either. Their packaging uses high post-consumer material content, sustainability sourced paperboard that is recyclable.

They work with CARE and help break down barriers to education for girls in developing countries.

I do not know of any sales or discount codes from them, but my guess is that they would have some around the end of the year. Check out their Facebook page for more info.
