I had a handful of Plant Therapy KidSafe synergies but didn't seem to have anything for the common cold. I got this synergy from one of the handful of BST (buy / sell / trade) groups for non-MLM essential oils. Here are some good Facebook groups
to buy, sell, and trade non-MLM essential oils. Let me tell you, it's addicting and easy to get carried
away. I can't remember if I bought it or traded it for another oil. The
thing you have to remember is that while somethings may seem
like they're a good deal, you often have to pay for shipping and that
can be an extra $3.50 or so.

It is pretty thin, but it's not going to run out of the bottle.

Smell, Use, and Viscosity
This blend has six ingredients:
fir needle,
rosalina,
spruce,
cypress,
spearmint,
and cedarwood Virginian. I've only tried one of the ingredients because I don't really like conifers. - I have never tried fir needle, but I think I would actually like it if it smells like Christmas trees. It's said to help with congestion due to seasonal flu and allergies.
- I've never tried rosalina and I'm not sure if I would like it. It's supposed to be soft, lemony, medicinal, and floral. It's said to help with congestion due to seasonal flu and allergies.
- I've never tried spruce. It's supposed to smell balsam-y and like a forest and a bit fruity. Not so sure I would like that. It's said to help with congestion and better your mood.
- I've never tried cypress, which is supposed to smell spicy, herbaceous, and a bit woody. They say it's clean and wood. I might like that. It helps your respiratory system and your mood. Topically, it can help with spider veins.
- I have tried spearmint and I have a negative association with it. I got a bottle without a Euro dropper and ended up dumping a bunch into my diffuser. Not wanting to waste it, I divided the water between all my diffusers in my house and diffused them throughout the next week. My entire house smelled like toothpaste. It smells like toothpaste. It can help your mood, improve concentration, and tension headaches. Topically, it can help an upset tummy.
- I've never tried cedarwood Virginian, but I have tried cedarwood atlas (aka cedarwood atlantica). I love the smell of cedar chests and thought cedarwood would make me nostalgic and feel grounded. Nope, not the case. I had the chance to smell cedar and to me it simply smelled like a musty, old basement. It's said to help with respiratory issues, dandruff, and keeping insects away.
It is pretty thin, but it's not going to run out of the bottle.

Size, Price, and Packaging
I got a 10ml bottle and it is priced pretty fairly. As I mentioned before, I got this as part of a set with the AromaFuse Diffuser, but you can buy it here. They have a roller ball version as well. Use this link to get $10 off! The packaging is standard. It comes with an orifice reducer or Euro
dropper. The oil is thin so it can come out quickly, but the orifice
isn't too large that the oil just runs out.
Would I Get This Again?
Yes, I probably would. I don't really like the smell of it, but if it will help shorten my kids' colds, then I'll use it every now and then.
Safety
The shelf life is about 3-4 years. I keep all mine in the fridge to help extend their shelf-life.Make sure to follow proper dilution guidelines.
