I
joined a handful of BST (buy / sell / trade) groups for non MLM
essential oils. Let me tell you, they weren't exactly easy to find, so
I'm listing them below in hopes of helping other people out.

What To Do With Oils You Don't Want
Some companies, like Plant Therapy, have generous return policies for essential oils. What happens after you return that oil might vary. Some places may use it, for example, in demos or other places might dispose of it. Some people prefer to sell or trade their oils or EO related items that they don't want rather than return them.
You have to remember that while somethings may *seem* like they're a good deal, you often have to pay for shipping and that can be an extra $3.50 or so. Many companies like Edens Garden and Plant Therapy offer free shipping plus they have loyalty programs, so it might be better to buy direct. There are often discount codes floating around. For example, you can get $10 off your first order with Plant Therapy by using this link. I personally try to use the groups mainly to sell or trade oils I don't want. If I'm going to buy an oil, it's usually because it's a really good deal, is a sample, or it's not available from the companies I usually purchase from.
1. Aromatic Trading Post.
This is for trades only. It has about 600 members and is not very active.
2. EG Essential Oil Trading Post
It's for Edens Garden products. This group has about 500 members.
3. Essential Oil Trading (No MLMs!)
This group has about 500 members and it's not that active. They have a list of brands that they don't allow due to them not being pure oils. The list is in the pinned post. Some brands they don't allow are Barefut, Jade Bloom, Majestic Pure, Nature's Bounty, Nature's Truth, Piping Rock, and Radha Beauty. There are more that they don't allow, so be sure to read the pinned post before posting.
4. Oil of the Month Club - PT Oils
This is mainly a discussion group for Plant Therapy's OOTM (oil of the month). There are about 6,000 members. They also have a few dedicated posts dedicated to BST and they can get crazy around sales. There's a #stickertrades, #mysterytrades, and #grouptrade.
5. Plant Therapy Essential Oil Recipes, Wellness, and BST
This is a Plant Therapy group. This is the biggest group with nearly 3000 members, however, it's not just for BST. You can also find questions about using oils and recipes.
6. PT Trading Plus
This is mainly a group for Plant Therapy oils and their #stickers but they also have a dedicated thread for #others brands that are not Plant Therapy as well as for #mlm. You can cross post items but you must add them to the #cross posted list. They also have an event where you can review your trades. This is the second biggest of the groups with about 1600 members.
7. Trades Group for Plant Therapy Essential Oils Chat and DIY Main Group

Some Tips
- Be honest about how old the product is, how it's been stored, and how much is left.
- Use PayPal to product yourself. For a trade, you can each write an invoice for $1, that will protect you.
- Package your oils appropriately. Caps need to be on tight, then use electrical tape to make a seal around the cap and the bottle. Use a padded envelope or bubble wrap (or both!)
- Send the tracking info to the person.
- Verify they've received it. Even if tracking says it's delivered, double check. I've had neighbors take things sometimes the post office scans it but forgets to put it in your box.
- Don't delete your post until you verify the person has received your oil.

Below are 6 Facebook groups that I know of where you can find non-MLM essential oils and related products. Most of them are for Edens Garden and Plant Therapy products, but some allow other oils. Check the descriptions for more info.
