Plant Therapy Let It Go Synergy Blend Essential Oil Review

I got this synergy from one of the handful of BST (buy / sell / trade) groups for non-MLM essential oils. Here are some good Facebook groups to buy, sell, and trade non-MLM essential oils. Let me tell you, it's addicting and easy to get carried away. I can't remember if I bought it or traded it for another oil. The thing you have to remember is that while somethings may seem like they're a good deal, you often have to pay for shipping and that can be an extra $3.50 or so.

About Plant Therapy: On my page about Plant Therapy, you can read more about their company and read my product reviews. I have reviewed other companies and their products as well and you can find those on my complete list.

Buying Direct vs BST Groups
Many companies like Edens Garden and Plant Therapy offer free shipping plus they have loyalty programs, so it might be better to buy direct. With that being said, you can find some good deals and if you're looking to trade oils, these groups can be amazing.

Smell, Use, and Viscosity
This has five ingredients: tangerine, ylang ylang complete, patchouli, sweet orange, and blue tansy.
  1. I think I would like tangerine since it's a citrus and I love citrus. It's said to help clear your mind and relieve your stress. It can boost your immune system and when applied topically, help an upset stomach.
  2. I tolerant ylang ylang complete, I feel like some days I like it more than others and I tend to like it in a blend more than on its own. It's said to calm you down. It's also known as an aphrodisiac.
  3. I hate patchouli, from talking to other people, it's one of those oils that you either love or hate and I'm the latter. It can decrease stress and help with meditation. Topically, it's said to help wrinkles, scars, and other skin blemishes.
  4. I love the smell of one of them and that's sweet orange. Known for lifting moods, this oil can help decrease stress and boost your immune system. It can also help improve stale air.
  5. I'm not sure about blue tansy. I know it's a coveted blue oil and it's fricking expensive (like $40 for 5ml expensive), but it says it smells herbal and like an apple. I like the apple part. I'm not so sure of the herbal part. I don't like mossy, herbal, earthy, woody smells. It's said to be calming and your self-esteem. It can also help with seasonal allergies due to pollen and help skin issues.

This smells old and musty to me. Not really like a basement, but it has a hint of that. It also smells medicinal to me. I don't like it. I can smell the ylang ylang complete and the patchouli. I can't really smell the citrus. The oil is green, which threw me for a loop since the label is blue and there's blue tansy.

They say it can evoke a sense of peace and calm. It's also supposed to help with addictive behaviors because it calms your nerves that can be caused from quitting an additive substance. My guess is that they're talking about stopping smoking. I don't smoke. I'm not really addicted to coffee or tea either.

I noticed that their regular synergy labels are different than the KidSafe synergies. The KidSafe ones have a bar code, the caution statement, and their address on the left. Then the description and ingredients on the right. The regular ones have the description, ingredients, and caution on the left. On the right they have their address and Facebook page. I prefer the regular ones. I think they're more visually pleasing without the bar code.

It's a thin oil, so be careful that you don't use more than you intend to use.

Size, Price, and Packaging
I got a 10ml bottle and it is priced pretty fairly. The packaging is standard. It comes with an orifice reducer or Euro dropper. The oil is thin so it can come out quickly, but the orifice isn't too large that the oil just runs out.

Would I Get This Again?
No, I wouldn't. I really don't like the smell of it and I don't smoke or have an addiction to an addictive substance. However, everyone is different. If you're interested, you can buy it here or buy it direct from Plant Therapy and use this link to get $10 off!

Safety
The shelf life is about 1-2 years. I keep all my essential oils in the fridge since it's a cool, dark place.
