I
almost didn't want to write this review. I'm actually cringing right
now because this review is negative. Let me just state that I love Plant Therapy. They're one of the companies I recommend.
However, this was the third diffuser I bought from them and the second
that I had issues with shortly after I bought it. I feel like people
deserve to know that while Plant Therapy has great oils and wonderful
customer service, I wouldn't recommend buying a diffuser from them.
So while this is a negative review about one of their product, there's also a positive side to it and that's that Plant Therapy has amazing customer service. They stand behind their products. If it doesn't work, they're going to help you out and find the best solution for you. Another positive side to the diffuser is that the water well is shallow and easy to clean. Not so for the Moon Diffuser. You need to have super skinny hands to clean it.

I found this diffuser in the bargain bin on their site. I think it was originally around $70 and it was marked down to almost $50. I had bought a Moon Ultrasonic Diffuser which stopped misting about 3.5 months after I bought it. Here is my review of the Moon Diffuser. Their customer service is amazing and they went above and beyond what I would have expected when I contacted them about the Moon Diffuser to see if they could help me troubleshoot it. Since I am considered an international customer, they couldn't give me a return shipping label in order to figure out what was wrong, so they gave me a refund. With the refund I got, I decided to buy another diffuser, but this time I'd buy a more expensive one, thinking that it would be better, so I bought the Pureness Aromatherapy Diffuser.
I had it maybe six weeks, two months max when I went to put water in and discovered it was peeling. Now, don't get me wrong; it still worked. Mist came out. At first, I thought there was some plastic covering that I didn't see and that was coming off. Nope, that wasn't it. The actual diffuser was peeling. The coating was coming off.
I originally didn't want to contact Plant Therapy since I had just contacted them about the Moon Ultrasonic Diffuser and now the Pureness Aromatherapy Diffuser had problems. I didn't want them to think I was taking advantage of their return policy. I figured, it still worked, just wasn't as pretty, so I'd suck it up. It's not like people would see it, it was in my daughter's room. However, in the end, people convinced me that I should let them know about the problem so that they could find a solution and other customers wouldn't have issues. I decided that I had an obligation to let them know that their product had issues.
They have amazing customer service. I will say that. They replied straight away and said they've had people report diffusers not working or stop working shortly after purchase, but they've never had anyone report one that peels and that they would look into their source, which is great. I think they need to find a better source for their diffusers. For a company that prides itself on sourcing their oils well, I wish they would do the same for their diffusers. Their diffusers aren't cheap either. They are not super expensive, but you could easily find cheaper ones on Amazon. For paying what I did, I'd expect better quality. For what it's worth, they did issue me a full refund since there were issues and it was within the warranty period.
This was more expensive than what I normally would pay for a diffuser, but it was on sale and I had some store credits that I was using. Use this link to get $10 off!

The Problem I Had
I got this for my daughter to replace her Moon Diffuser. It was on her dresser, out of the reach of children. We have no pets, so they couldn't have gotten to it. I didn't use it as often as I wanted. Maybe three or four times a week. Usually for a couple of hours, I would put it on intermittent misting and then usually turn it off when she went to sleep. Sometimes I'd pass out from exhaustion before that and I would turn it off in the morning.I had it maybe six weeks, two months max when I went to put water in and discovered it was peeling. Now, don't get me wrong; it still worked. Mist came out. At first, I thought there was some plastic covering that I didn't see and that was coming off. Nope, that wasn't it. Size, Price, and Packaging
There are three plastic parts to the diffuser. There's the base with a container for up to 100ml of water, a splash guard, and the top. There's also a cord that comes with to plug it in. It came with a very simple instruction manual in English and traditional Chinese. The English had mistakes and even somethings were translated incorrectly (thank you Google Translate for helping me out). It's white and the base has a yellow light that you can turn on or off. There are three buttons: power, light, and mist. The light can be turned on or off (no dim setting) and the mist can be either continuous or 30 seconds on and 30 seconds off. More details about size and coverage can be found below. This was more expensive than what I normally would pay for a diffuser, but it was on sale and I had some store credits that I was using. Would I Get This Again?
No, I wouldn't get this again. It hasn't broken, but it is peeling.

Random Thoughts
No
company is perfect. Plant Therapy has great oils and great customer
service. I definitely recommend checking them out. Their diffusers on the other hand, need to be sourced from a
different company. Until then I will check out ones on Amazon or Diffuser World.
