I
almost didn't want to write this review. I'm actually cringing right
now because this review is negative. Let me just state that I love Plant Therapy. They're one of the companies I recommend.
However, this diffuser broke shortly after the warranty period was up. I feel like people
deserve to know that while Plant Therapy has great oils and wonderful
customer service, I wouldn't recommend buying a diffuser from them.
So while this is a negative review about one of their product, there's also a positive side to it and that's that Plant Therapy has amazing customer service. They stand behind their products. If it doesn't work, they're going to help you out and find the best solution for you.

I had been using Plant Therapy oils for a bit and decided I wanted to get a non MLM diffuser. I checked out Amazon and had bought some cheaper ones on Amazon, but I really wanted to go with a company I could trust. I looked at the ones Plant Therapy had to offer and decided they were a bit too expensive for me. A friend of mine told me she had the Moon Diffuser from Plant Therapy. I couldn't find it in the diffuser section so figured they stopped making them. She told me to check the bargain bin and there it was. I figured it was a diffuser from a company I trust, so it should be a quality diffuser. She said while it was a bit pricey, hers had been working fine for a couple of years, so in the end it was better to buy one more expensive diffuser if it would last a couple years, less money, less waste.
Since my daughter's birthday was coming up, I decided to get her the pink Moon Diffuser. I try to not get kids toys for gifts, but instead get things that last and that they can grow into.
Honestly, looking back at this diffuser, I would have chosen one that had a lower center of gravity. This never tipped over, but I feel that it could. Also, the water well is super skinny. It's impossible for me to clean without using something like an old toothbrush to get the metal circle and the corners.
It was more expensive than I would have paid for a diffuser, but since it was on sale, I figured it was worth more than what I was paying. Use this link to get $10 off!
Despite being just outside the warranty period, I ended up getting a full refund on the Moon Diffuser and then buying the Pureness Aromatherapy Diffuser, which still works but started peeling. You can read more about that diffuser here.

Size, Price, and Packaging
There
are three plastic parts to the diffuser. There's the base with a
container for up to 100ml of water, a splash guard, and the top. There's
also a cord that comes with to plug it in. It came with a very simple
instruction manual in English and traditional Chinese. The English had
mistakes and even somethings were translated incorrectly (thank you
Google Translate for helping me out). It's white and the base has a white light on the top part. There are three buttons:
power, light, and mist. The light can be turned on, dimmed, or off and the mist can be either continuous or 30 seconds on and 30
seconds off. More details about size and coverage can be found below.Honestly, looking back at this diffuser, I would have chosen one that had a lower center of gravity. The Problem I Had
I actually contacted Plant Therapy in hopes of troubleshooting. I bought the Moon Diffuser from Plant Therapy in September. It stopped working 3.5 months afterwards. If you look at the photo, you can see mist coming out.
The only way I can get mist to come out is to warm up the water. They said I would have to send it in for them to figure it out. They said that they would pay for the shipping, except I'm classified as international so that didn't work. They though it just might be a fluke.
Once the water cools down, the mist stops. I mainly use lemon with this diffuser. I also use other citrus EOs.Despite being just outside the warranty period, I ended up getting a full refund on the Moon Diffuser and then buying the Pureness Aromatherapy Diffuser, which still works but started peeling. You can read more about that diffuser here.
Would I Get This Again?
No, I wouldn't get this again.
Sales and Discount Codes

Random Thoughts
No
company is perfect. Plant Therapy has great oils and great customer
service. I definitely recommend checking them out. Their diffusers on the other hand, need to be sourced from a
different company. Until then I will check out ones on Amazonor Diffuser World.
