Caribbean Cacao Cocoa Butter Review

I had bought shea butter and mango butter from Better Shea Butter and decided that I should get some cocoa butter as well. I have a love-hate relationship with cocoa butter. It's hard, which is great in the summer, but really makes body butters hard to use in the summer. It smells like chocolate, which I personally love and it makes me want to eat it, but I know that some people don't like slathering chocolate smelling butter on themselves. Instead of buying cocoa butter from Better Shea Butter , I decided to see what other companies were out there and I found Caribbean Cocoa on Amazon. With high ratings and over 2,000, I figured I should try it. About Caribbean Cacao:  On my page about Caribbean Cacao , you can read more about their company and see all my product reviews. I have reviewed other companies and their products as well and you can find those on my complete list . YouTube: Watch my review and be sure to subscribe to my channel !   Disclai...

DeRu Extract's Holiday Madness 2018

DeRu Extracts formed early this year. Before, they were two separate companies: Terrae Oleum and Blends by Ruth. Last year, Terrae Oleum did a sale like this, but Blends by Ruth did not. Every day they have a different offer. They also have new products that they will be introducing at this time. They have a Black Friday/Cyber Monday Sale (BFCM) that starts on the 23rd and then after that, they are going into their Holiday Madness Sale. It will be 26 days of sales and will end on December 22nd. During this time, they will also be doing surprise giveaways throughout this sale! You get an entry by making a purchase! They announced that they were going to have a sale in their Facebook group, Sharing the Essential Oil Love and I asked if they had a name. Dedi said it was going to be called Holiday Madness Holiday Madness both her and Ruth might need to be committed by the end of the year after all they have planned. Appalachian Valley Natural Products Geranium Rose Essential Oil Review

I was looking for something to help with scarring and someone recommended geranium rose. I didn't know anything about this oil when I bought a sample. I knew it would have a floral scent, but didn't really know what it was used for. Since AVAT's samples are so affordable, I decided to just get it. Redmond Earthpaste 4 Pack (Lemon, Wintergreen, Cinnamon, Peppermint) Review

Earthpaste, has an interesting ring to it. Basically, it's clay with a few other ingredients. Doesn't taste fantastic and it doesn't lather either like regular toothpaste. I came upon it after spending lots of time researching and it seemed like a good product. I do have a few questions about it though and I'll talk about those later on. There's a lot of junk in toothpaste that I was trying to avoid. I feel like I have better things to do with my life than find a good toothpaste. I found Redmond Earthpaste and found good reviews and was so sick of looking for toothpaste that I got it. Since I was on a MooGoo kick and loved their company and their products, I decided to get their toothpaste as well. You can read my review here . Here are the ingredients I was trying to avoid. Artificial dyes : do you really need blue stripes in your toothpaste? Artificial sweetners : use natural ones.  Carrageenan : I know that some people use it, but it can cause GI issu...

Appalachian Valley Natural Products Frankincense Frereana Essential Oil Review

Ah, frankincense. A precious oil and resin coveted throughout the years. That's about all I knew about it, besides the Three Wise Men bringing gold, frankincense, and myrrh. I didn't even know what it smelled like. AVAT recently had a sale and I was trying to get my cart to $35 so I could get free shipping. I decided to add 4 out of 5 of their frankincense essential oils. Now, frankincense is one of those oils that I really don't want to try and that's because it's semi-expensive. The majority of the oils I have are citrus and very affordable. I don't like to diffuse expensive oils because I feel like it's a waste of money; I'd rather use them topically. Part of me hopes that when I try samples of precious oils, that I won't like them so that I don't have to spend the money on them since I'm cheap. Happily, AVAT does have pretty affordable prices compared to other companies and that's one reason that I tried it. I figured I...

My Thoughts on Redmond Earthpaste

You would think that finding something simple like toothpaste would not take hours and hours of research, but there's a lot of junk in toothpaste that I was trying to avoid. I feel like I have better things to do with my life than find a good toothpaste. I found Redmond Earthpaste and found good reviews and was so sick of looking for toothpaste that I got it. Artificial dyes : do you really need blue stripes in your toothpaste? Artificial sweetners : use natural ones.  Carrageenan : I know that some people use it, but it can cause GI issues. Fluoride : it is known to be toxic and every little bit adds up. Glycerin : coats your teeth. Propylene glycol : linked to central nervous system issues. Sodium lauryl sulfate or SLS (a foaming agent): that's for dishes, not my teeth. Triclosan : the FDA has banned it. Disclaimer: Per FTC regulations, I am disclosing that I use affiliate links.
