My hair is about to the middle of my back. I have 2B, low-porosity,
protein-sensitive hair. My hair is medium thickness and low density. I'm
of European descent and I have dark virgin hair. I had heard raves reviews about this magical curl activator / leave-in
conditioner from a handful of Curly Girl groups on Facebook. The fact that it is made with healthy ingredients made me
want to try it despite the price tag. It seemed a little expensive, but
I'm willing to pay (a bit) more for quality products from a reputable
company. That had a sale going on at that time as well, so I decided to
get this as well as some other things.

This does have glycerin (a humectant), which can cause frizz during high and low dews, however, many people swore up and down that it helped stop frizz.
The one issue that I really have with the ingredient list is that it does not follow INCI standards as far as the names of the ingredients.
It's pretty thick and in an airless container so can be a bit difficult to get out.
Due to the price, I really didn't use this that much because it was a good product, I was "saving" it. However, my goal for 2018 was to work through all the products I have and I have been using it more. Honestly, and I feel like I'm committing heresy by saying this, I don't think it's all that magical. It does work pretty well, but I still have frizz and my hair clumps pretty much the same. I know I'm in the minority because practically everyone I know loves it.

Ingredients
The ingredient list is super short but there are a few ingredients in this product that made made me a bit wary. It's got olive oil and coconut oil, both of which are kinda meh in my hair. Anytime I see fragrance or parfum on an ingredient label I usually don't even give the product a second look. The exceptions to the rule are if it's an essential oil blend or if it's phthalate-free.This does have glycerin (a humectant), which can cause frizz during high and low dews, however, many people swore up and down that it helped stop frizz.

Smell and Texture
This doesn't have a strong scent at all. It smells milky and oily if that makes sense. Earthy. It's pretty thick and in an airless container so can be a bit difficult to get out.

Size, Price, and Packaging
I got a 100 ml airless container and it doesn't look like it comes in airless containers anymore: just a tube. Now you can choose between 50 ml and 100 ml. I really like airless containers when it comes to oils and serums. For hair products, I'm totally fine with tubes. Tubs, tins, or jars, on the other hand, I think are totally gross and easily contaminated. You can buy it from Amazon or on MooGooUSA. Would I Get This Again?
Maybe. I absolutely love their company and what they stand for. This product isn't that amazing, but I think I need to get a better haircut and also to work on my curly hair technique as well. Tons of people love this product. If you're
