Plant Therapy Love Vanilla Essential Oil Synergy Blend Review

Most of the essential oils I had been buying were safe for kids and I really wanted to expand the oils that I used. I felt limited by only buying oils that could be used around kids. I knew that I could use other oils safely and decided to get a synergy that I could use to add to a body butter, roller ball, or just diffuse when the kids weren't under way.

Smell, Use, and Viscosity

This blend only has two ingredients: Vanilla oleoresin and ylang ylang complete.
  1. Vanilla oleoresin is often used in sensual blends, since to me, vanilla reminds me of Christmas and has a homey scent to it. It smells warm and reminds me of family. It's also said to promote relaxation and help lull you to sleep.
  2. I tolerant ylang ylang complete., I feel like some days I like it more than others and I tend to like it in a blend more than on its own. It's said to calm you down. It's also known as an aphrodisiac.

I can definitely smell the ylang ylang in this synergy. The vanilla is much more subtle. I'm surprised they used vanilla oleoresin instead of the CO2 since the former is thick and might clog up a diffuser. They do mention using this synergy topically though.

It is a bit thick, so you might have to tap the bottle to get the oil out.

    Size, Price, and Packaging
I got a 10ml bottle and it is priced pretty fairly. You can use this link to get $10 off. The packaging is standard. It comes with an orifice reducer or Euro dropper. The oil is thicker and you might have to shake or tap the bottle.

    Would I Get This Again?
I'm not really sure if I would get it again. The ylang ylang is a bit too strong for me in this synergy blend. However, everyone is different. If it sounds like something you would like to try, you can buy it here.
