Saribelle Skincare Instant Facial Foaming Cleanser Review

My local store really doesn't have many healthy, natural products, but that doesn't stop me from looking! They seem to get new stuff every now and again. I've found Aura Cacia Organic Rosehip Oil and Green Goo Dry Skin. They also have a handful of Shea Moisture products that I will link to once I get around to reviewing.

I saw the Instant Facial Foaming Cleanser. It was slightly expensive, but I figured it was a healthy option, had grapefruit (which is hands-down my favorite scent) and I like supporting small companies, so I decided to try it.

Product Details
You can buy it here. I liked the simplicity of the ingredients. I also like that they have a page on their website dedicated to them. They also use preservatives. Now I know that a lot of people that that preservatives are bad and that if you want to have a natural product, you should avoid preservatives. This is not necessarily true. Any product with water or a water-based ingredient, such as aloe, needs a preservative.

Think of cooking soup. A nice, home-made, totally healthy soup with all-natural ingredients. Now leave it out on your counter for a few days or so. It's going to start molding and growing bacteria. The same goes for natural products. Unless you're not going to use water or are going to use very small amounts of it (and even some people disagree) or are going to stick it in your freezer and only take out small amounts and use that entire amount, you will need a preservative. Saribelle Skincare does use preservatives and they use healthy preservatives.

This product line is meant for sensitive skin. The creator of the products wanted them so gentle that she could use them on her own children. I have come to realise that even though I don't wear make-up, I like products that are not light and airy, but that reach deep into my pores and get out all the grit and grime of the city.

Size, Price, and Packaging
This is 170ml or 5.7oz. I think it's rather expensive, but I wanted to try it. The packaging is good and that might contribute to the cost. It's a foaming pump bottle.

Would I Get This Again?
To be honest, no, I would not buy it again. As I mentioned above, I like products that reach deep into my pores. I think this would be great for someone with sensitive skin. Everyone is different. If you think it's something you would like to try, you can buy it here.

Safety
Patch test before using.
