I knew that I wanted to
use essential oils with my kids and Plant Therapy takes the guesswork
out of what's safe and what's not safe since they have a KidSafe line. I
got this oil as part of a set with the AromaFuse Diffuser. They have an
organic version
as well. Since this does have citrus oils in it, I wish I would have
bought the organic version. You can read more about organic vs.
non-organic essential oils in this post.

Like Edens Garden's OK for Kids, Plant Therapy has a line for kids. This product is a part of this line meant for kids aged 2 and up. You can buy it here. They also have an organic version and a roller ball version. Use this link to get $10 off!
They say it's supposed to smell sweet and happy like
an orchard with fresh fruits. They say it's relaxing and soothing as
well as wonderful and delight to for little ones. It's also one of their
top KidSafe oils. The oil is yellow and smells a bit green and mossy. I
can smell the lavender,
in it, but I can't really smell the citrus even though they are the
first two ingredients. I think I just must be sensitive to lavender and
can pick it out of a blend since I hate it so much.
I've decided to keep it for now though. I like what it's supposed to do and that's to help kids calm down. My second daughter will be 2 soon and then I can see if it works on her. I've also thought about diffusing it when I have to get work done since with the internet, it's so easy to get distracted. I hate the smell as well. I really should try it once a week or something. Right now it's just not getting used.
It is pretty thin, but it's not going to run out of the bottle.

Smell, Use, and Viscosity
This has four ingredients: mandarin, tangerine, chamomile Roman, and lavender.- I know there are three kinds of mandarin: red, orange, and yellow. I'm not sure which this is. All three are called citrus reticulata and cold-pressed from the peel. The red is from the fully ripened fruit, the orange is from the partially ripened fruit, and the yellow is from the unripened fruit. They smell similar but have slight differences. I wish Plant Therapy specified which one it is. It's uplifting and can help you when you're stressed.
- I've never tried tangerine, but I'm guessing I would like it because it's a citrus. It's said to help clear your mind and relieve your stress. It can boost your immune system and when applied topically, help an upset stomach.
- I have never tried chamomile Roman. I've heard good things about it and I know it's supposed to smell powerful, green, and apple-like. I really think I might like it if it really smells like apples. I can do some green smells like lemongrass, so it sounds like something I might like to try. I haven't bought it yet since, in my opinion, it's kind of expensive. It's supposed to help children sleep and help tired muscles and joints.
- Florals can be ok, but some of them, like lavender, I hate with a passion; it reminds me of old ladies. A staple in many people's cabinets, it's said to help you relax and unwind. Topically, it can help skin issues.

Size, Price, and Packaging
I got a 10ml bottle and it is priced pretty fairly. As I mentioned before, I got this as part of a set with the AromaFuse Diffuser, but you can also buy it here. They have an organic version and a roller ball version as well. Since this does have citrus oils in it, I wish I would have
bought the organic version. Use this link to get $10 off!
The packaging is standard. It comes with an orifice reducer or Euro
dropper. The oil is thin so it can come out quickly, but the orifice
isn't too large that the oil just runs out.
Would I Get This Again?
No,
I wouldn't. My daughter really doesn't like the smell of it and it's
not working because she hates the smell too much.
Safety
The shelf life is about 1-2 years. I keep all mine in the fridge to help extend their shelf-life.Make sure to follow proper dilution guidelines.
