Edens Garden Palmarosa Essential Oil Review

I was told that palmarosa smelled a bit like honey, so when I saw it available in a BST group, I decided to get it. I can't remember if I bought it or traded it for another oil. Here are some good Facebook groups to buy, sell, and trade non-MLM essential oils.

http://bit.ly/2K7wF1ZBuying Direct vs BST Groups
Many companies like Edens Garden and Plant Therapy (get $10 off) offer free shipping plus they have loyalty programs, so it might be better to buy direct. With that being said, you can find some good deals and if you're looking to trade oils, these groups can be amazing.

Product Details
Like Plant Therapy (get $10 off), Edens Garden also has a kids line called, OK for Kids. This product is a part of this line meant for kids aged 2 and up. You can buy it here.

I had never heard of palmarosa before someone in some group (and I've forgotten which group it was in) mentioned that it smells like honey. The name made me think of woods and a forest. According to their description, it has a mix of a floral and citrus aroma.

Smell, Use, and Viscosity
I don't detect a floral aroma in this oil. To me is smells like the honey and lemon mixture my mom used to make for us as kids when we had a cough. Everyone is different though, my daughter thinks it smells like Coca Cola. I like it, but it's not what I expected. It's soft and light, not a strong scent. I think it would be good for relaxing or diffusing when you want an airy aroma. It's not something that I would reach for so it's in my daughter's essential oil box.

It's supposed to help you calm down and relax, similar to what lavender does (I hate lavender, so it's good to have an alternative). It can also help with aging skin and cleaning.

It's pretty thin so be careful not to use more than you planned on using.

Size, Price, and Packaging
I got a 10ml bottle and it is priced pretty fairly. As I mentioned above, I got it from a Facebook group, Here's a list of good Facebook groups for buying, selling, and trading oils. The packaging is standard. It comes with an orifice reducer or Euro dropper. The oil is thin so it can come out quickly, but the orifice isn't too large that the oil just runs out. If you sign up on their website, you will automatically be enrolled in Aroma Notes, their loyalty program, which allows you to earn points towards future purchases.

One complaint I have about their packaging is that they don't have a label on the top of the oil. This means that you either have to buy their bottle cap stickers or make your own. They even say that it's frustrating to have to lift all the oils out and check the label on the side. I'm sorry, but I think this is slightly ridiculous. I know that $5 for stickers isn't that much, but if you only have a few oils it doesn't make sense, money-wise or material-wise. You'll just be throwing a lot of the stickers away, even though it's not that much, it's wasteful and think about how many other people do the same. I don't think it would cost them that much extra to stick a sticker on top. Plant Therapy's bottles all come with stickers and they have similar price points. I personally make my own stickers. They don't look pretty, but they do the job. Come on Edens Garden, help us out and just add a sticker on the top.

Would I Get This Again?
I'm not really sure to be honest. It's not something I reach for. Right now my daughter likes it, but we will see if she likes it enough for me to buy it again. However, I know that everyone is different, if you think you'd like it, you can buy it here.
