My Thoughts on From Nature With Love

I used to buy stuff from From Nature With Love when I was in college. I was on the Long Hair Lovers and the Long Hair Community boards and used some of their products. FNWL was founded in 1997. While not all companies that are in business for a long time are good, it helps to know that you are buying from an established company. Make sure to sign up for their rewards program. Their mailing list will notify you about their sales, sometimes they have up to 50% off.  image source Disclaimer: Per FTC regulations, I am disclosing that I use affiliate links. I think this may be partly due to the fact that they have such a larg

Plant Therapy A+ Attention KidSafe Essential Oil Synergy Blend Review

I knew that I wanted to use essential oils with my kids and Plant Therapy takes the guesswork out of what's safe and what's not safe since they have a KidSafe line. I got this oil as part of a set with the AromaFuse Diffuser, but you can buy it separately. They have an organic version and a roller ball version as well. Since this does have citrus oils in it, I wish I would have bought the organic version. You can read more about organic vs. non-organic essential oils in this post . Plant Therapy Grapefruit Pink Essential Oil Review

Everyone has a few favorite oils. My daughter absolutely loves lemon . This was one of the first essential oils I bought. I knew that I like citrus and decided to try it. I was definitely not disappointed: it's a happy, uplifting oil. I want to try to buy organic citrus oils due to the information in this post . There are exceptions and that is when they are not cold pressed. I don't mind buying non-organic for other oils. I didn't find out this information before I bought this, so I bought the regular, non-organic one. Plant Therapy does have an organic version if you're interested in that.   About Plant Therapy: On my page about Plant Therapy , you can read more about their company and read my product reviews. Edens Garden Cinnamon Bark Essential Oil Review

I was given this oil (along with a handful of other Edens Garden essential oils) by someone who was moving. Cinnamon can be rather confusing since there are three different versions. Each of the three comes from a different part of the plant or even a different plant all together, can be used for different things, is said to smell differently, has different dilution guidelines, and is priced differently. My Thoughts on Green Goo

Green Goo by Sierra Sage is women-owned and family operated. Their products are made in the USA with 100% natural herbs and oils. The source their ingredients from organic farmers and infuse them in oils. Their focus on social and ethical responsibility has earned them a B Corporation certification . They partner with various organizations both locally and globally to product natural first aid products. They also donate a portion of their profits to charity. You can read more about it here . I've also seen them called Sierra Sage / Green Goo and Green Goo by Sierra Sage Herbs . The latter is an additional Facebook page besides their normal Green Goo Helps one. I'm not sure why they have two Facebook pages. Disclaimer: Per FTC regulations, I am disclosing that I use affiliate links. Plant Therapy Orange Sweet Organic Essential Oil Review

I had orange sweet already but was trying to get organic citruses. I joined a handful of BST (buy / sell / trade) groups for non-MLM essential oils. Here are some good Facebook groups to buy, sell, and trade non-MLM essential oils. Let me tell you, it's addicting and easy to get carried away. The thing you have to remember is that while somethings may seem like they're a good deal, you often have to pay for shipping and that can be an extra $3.50 or so. I got this oil from one of those groups. Both my daughter and I love citrus oils. We have lemon organic and lime steam distilled and I wanted to try something that wasn't as sharp or tart. My daughter would be happy with lemon, all day, every day, but I am careful to switch up the oils I use in order to avoid sensitization . I'm happy that orange sweet organic is one of their KidSafe oils as well. About Plant Therapy: On my page about Plant Therapy , you can read more about their company and read my pro
