MooGoo Natural Cream Conditioner Review

I heard about this conditioner in a Curly Girl Facebook group. I am all for making large purchases once or twice a year. You can capitalize on discounts and reduce your carbon footprint. I ordered this along with a handful of other MooGoo products. With only a few ingredients, it looked safe enough to use on my kids in case I didn't like it. Although it has fragrance, it is phthlate-free. They state that they used to use essential oils but stopped due to not everyone being able to use them. (Take note, Shea Moisture, either state what essential oil you use or figure out another way to add scent besides using essential oils). MooGoo breaks down their ingredients one by one, which is nice, since you know what the purpose of each one is for.  About MooGoo: On my page about MooGoo , you can read more about their company and read my product reviews. Shea Moisture Baobab & Tea Tree Oils Low Porosity Protein-Free Leave-In Detangler Review

My hair is about to the middle of my back. I have 2B, low-porosity, protein-sensitive hair. My hair is medium thickness and low density. I'm of European descent and I have dark virgin hair. I have a handful of Shea Moisture hair products and they don't seem to work well on my hair. I finally figured out that my hair doesn't like coconut oil since it's drying for me, nor does it like shea butter. However, I am using up what I have before I get more products. After hearing so much about their low porosity line, I decided buy both the conditioner and the leave-in conditioner. I figured I could use it every now and then while I was using up the products that didn't work for me. Avalon Organics Intense Defense with Vitamin C Facial Serum Review

I was looking for a serum to help fade sun spots. After checking out ingredients and comparing Amazon reviews at FakeSpot , I thought I found an amazing product. I had heard a little about Avalon Organics and all the ingredients looked to be pretty good. The reviews were reliable as well. It was slightly more than what I would usually spend, but that's because I'm cheap. I bought it anyways, since it's a serum and I was hoping it would last a while. I put off using this because I tend to save my "good" stuff. Finally I figured that I decided to use it since there was no point in saving good stuff. If you're not going to use it, why buy it? I started using it on cheeks right below the eye socket bones and then along my jaw line where I had acne scars. I was using it every night and sometimes in the mornings if I remembered. MooGoo Soothing MSM Cream Review

I have tried a number of different eczema treatments for my daughter and I heard good things about this cream for eczema. I ordered this along with a handful of other MooGoo products. With only a few ingredients, it looked safe enough to use on my kids in case I didn't like it. They don't use essential oils in this cream, but instead use an extract. They used to use essential oils, but stopped due to not everyone being able to use them. (Take note Shea Moisture, either state what essential oil you use or figure out another way to add scent besides using essential oils). Appalachian Valley Natural Products Lemon Myrtle Essential Oil Review

Lemon, the one essential oil my daughter would have me diffuse all day, every day. Don't do that since sensitization can occur if you do. We have a number of lemons and lemon-related oils from a variety of companies. From AVAT, we have lemongrass and lemon , so it was only logical to get lemon myrtle as well as see how that compared. They also have other lemon-related oils: basil lemon , eucalyptus lemon , lemongrass distilled , lemon green , and lemon tea tree oil . As much as I'd like to try most of those, I'm pretty much lemoned out right now. Appalachian Valley Natural Products Plai Essential Oil Review

Popular essential oils such as lavender and tea tree oil are commonly known, but as you get into essential oils more and more, you learn about one you had never heard of. One of the reasons that I love AVAT is that they offer sample sizes. I try to mainly buy oils that are safe for kids. Unfortunately, AVAT doesn't say which ones are safe for kids so I go back and forth between their website, Edens Garden , and Plant Therapy . It's a bit of a pain, but AVAT's oils have tested pure and the price is right, so it's worth it. I had never heard of plai before and decided to get it because it is supposed to help with respiratory issues, plus it has a really cool name. Maybe not the best of reasons, but when most samples are less than $1, I decided to go ahead and get it since in order to get free shipping from AVAT, you need to spend $35. Shipping was going to be about $10. I'd rather pay to get stuff than pay for shipping. About Appalachian Valley Natural Products:

MooGoo Cover-Up Buttercup SPF 15 Natural Moisturiser Review

I heard about MooGoo in a Curly Girl Facebook group, they recommended the Protein Shot. MooGoo doesn't have free shipping, so I thought I should get my money's worth and order a handful of products that I needed as I was trying to move away from personal products that had synthetic dyes and used phthalates in their fragrances. I honestly bought this thinking that it was a low SPF sunscreen, not that it was a lotion with sunscreen in it. I am all for making large purchases once or twice a year. You can capitalize on discounts and reduce your carbon footprint. With only a few ingredients, it looked safe enough to use on my kids in case I didn't like it. On most of their products, MooGoo breaks down their ingredients one by one, which is nice, since you know what the purpose of each one is for. However, they do not do that on this product. Just Hemp Foods Hemp Seed Oil Review

I heard that hemp seed oil was supposed to be a miracle oil that could help with skin troubles and irritations such as acne and eczema. I had started breaking out with cystic acne due to a high stress situation and my daughter had eczema that kept getting worse and worse . There was no hemp seed oil at my local stores, so I went online and found this one. Being a cold pressed oil in a dark bottle bottle that was affordably priced made me buy it without hesitation. Appalachian Valley Natural Products Ylang Ylang Extra Essential Oil Review

Ylang Ylang is often known for its romantic, sensual properties. Common in perfume for date nights, not everyone loves this oil, with some proclaiming that it smells like cat pee. I was hestiant to get this oil due to that plus the fact that it is not safe for kids. However, I realised that most of the oils I had were safe for kids and that it was time to treat myself to some oils that were mine and mine alone. As long as I used them safely away from the kids, I shouldn't have any issues. One of the reasons that I love AVAT is that they offer sample sizes. Shea Moisture African Black Soap Review

I had been wanting to get away from body wash for a while. I feel like they take up a lot of space, they are usually water based which means you're paying a lot for water, and I don't like the fact that so much packaging is required. I had bought some oatmeal soap and some Dead Sea Mud soap from Aspen Kay but also wanted to try some from Shea Moisture. They were a bit more affordable and I knew more about the company and had already had a handful of products from them.  About Shea Moisture: On my page about Shea Moisture , you can read more about their company and read my product reviews.
