My Thoughts on Better Shea Butter

It's hard to believe that Better Shea Butter is such a young company since they have such a large following. Started in 2013 by Isabella Duvall, they've already made a great name for themselves. With quality products, a small family-run company, and strong ethics, it's not hard to see why they're so popular.  Disclaimer: Per FTC regulations, I am disclosing that I use affiliate links. My Thoughts on Aspen Kay Naturals

I found out about Aspen Kay Naturals while searching for bar soaps on Amazon. I wanted to switch from body wash to bar soap for a variety of reasons. I also wanted to support a small company with a small product line and didn't want to end up paying a ton of money. Disclaimer: Per FTC regulations, I am disclosing that I use affiliate links. If you want to save money, I highly suggest buying their fugly soap , which is a one pound bag of soap ends. I bought two bags of fugly soap from them and you can read my reviews below. They have sales and discount codes that you can find at the end of this post. Quality P

Plant Therapy Lemon Organic Essential Oil Review

I got this oil from one of those groups through a trade. Lemon is my daughter's favorite oil. Although she loves lemon, I am careful to switch up the oils I use in order to avoid sensitization . This is one of their KidSafe oils as well. I joined a handful of BST (buy / sell / trade) groups for non-MLM essential oils. Here are some good Facebook groups to buy, sell, and trade non-MLM essential oils. Aztec Secret Indian Healing Clay Review

Clay has a variety of uses. I know with clay some people actually eat it and swear by the health benefits. If you want to do that, that's up to you and your medical practitioner, I'm going to stick with pasting it on my face and putting it in the bath. I tried a hair clay mask once and nearly cried. It sucked out all the moisture from my hair and matted it. I know some people swear by them though. My advice would be to patch test a small area before putting it all over your hair like I did. About Aztec Secret: On my page about Aztec Secret , you can read more about their company and see my product review. I have reviewed other companies and their products as well and you can find those on my complete list . I got this for free: I love free stuff! I used to volunteer at my local thrift store and per the store's policy, they were not able to sell any toiletries, whether they were opened or not. Any items that were donated were put in the break room and the volunt

Plant Therapy Moon Ultrasonic Diffuser Review

I almost didn't want to write this review. I'm actually cringing right now because this review is negative. Let me just state that I love Plant Therapy . They're one of the companies I recommend . However, this diffuser broke shortly after the warranty period was up. I feel like people deserve to know that while Plant Therapy has great oils and wonderful customer service, I wouldn't recommend buying a diffuser from them. So while this is a negative review about one of their product, there's also a positive side to it and that's that Plant Therapy has amazing customer service. They stand behind their products. If it doesn't work, they're going to help you out and find the best solution for you. My Thoughts on Aztec Secret

I had never heard of Aztec Secret before I got their clay. I have to say, I'm impressed with the company. Their website is super simple. It has information on how it works, how to use it (with some recipes), the history, how to order, and contact. That's it. It's not an impressive website at all and honestly, it needs an editor. However, they must be doing something right since they have a huge following and only sell one product. Disclaimer: Per FTC regulations, I am disclosing that I use affiliate links. Plant Therapy Pureness Aromatherapy Diffuser Review

I almost didn't want to write this review. I'm actually cringing right now because this review is negative. Let me just state that I love Plant Therapy . They're one of the companies I recommend . However, this was the third diffuser I bought from them and the second that I had issues with shortly after I bought it. Another positive side to the diffuser is that the water well is shallow and easy to clean. Not so for the Moon Diffuser. You need to have super skinny hands to clean it.   About Plant Therapy: On m

Aura Cacia Organic Rosehip Oil Review

I always like to check out the "natural" section of my local store. It's really small and a lot of the stuff there isn't very natural at all. Many have fragrances added. I personally don't use products with fragrance added unless they state that it's phthlate-free or that they're from essential oils. While browsing I saw a couple Aura Cacia bottles. I knew a little about them, mainly that they had essential oils, so I decided to check it out About Aura Cacia: On my page about Aura Cacia , you can read more about their company and read my product reviews. My Thoughts on Aura Cacia

Aura Cacia is kind of new to me. I know that they have quality essential oils and that they are sold in some health food stores. I found out that they're part of Frontier , a member owned co-op that has been around since 1976. They focus on being responsible to people and the planet and give back to the community both locally and internationally. They have certified organic products and don't test on animals. From what I can tell looking at their website, they care about their customers. They offer free shipping if you spend $49. Altern

Aspen Kay Naturals Dead Sea Mud Fugly Soap Review

I knew I wanted to switch from body wash to bar soap. It was more environmentally friendly (body wash uses water, bar soaps mean less packaging which means less waste, transport-related emissions since there was less weight per product, etc), it's more moisturising, and no preservatives are needed since no water is added were just a few of the reasons why I switched. Aspen Kay Naturals Oatmeal Fugly Soap Review

It was more environmentally friendly (body wash uses water, bar soaps mean less packaging which means less waste, transport-related emissions since there was less weight per product, etc), it's more moisturising, and no preservatives are needed since no water is added were just a few of the reasons why I switched. I wanted to support a small company with a small product line. I also didn't want to end up a lot of money. I know there are companies out there that make gorgeous soap. They're breath-taking and they're expensive. They're just not for me right now on the budget I have. I was looking for something simple and affordable. I'm more attuned to the masculine way of thinking when it comes to somethings. I feel that women are all about something being pretty. Whereas I tend to think about function: does it work the way it's supposed to? It's soap. It's going in my shower. No one
